Assistant Manager Full time and part time positions available. The primary role of the Assistant Manager is to support the General Manager in most of her/his duties. Some of these responsibilities include:

•Opening & Closing of the facility

•Monitoring Associate Schedules and Hours Worked •Providing input for Associate Evaluations

•Assist in Event Planning and Marketing However, in the absence of the General Manager, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for full oversight of Associates and Operations of the facility.

In addition, there are certain duties of which the Assistant Manager is directly responsible for on a day to day basis. These include:

•Answering the telephone

•Maintaining Customer and Corporate Records

•Responding to Customer inquiries and/or complaints

•Managing Customer Receivables

•Conducting Monthly Inventory Reconciliations

•Facilitating Customer Tours •Overseeing Petcare Operations

•Assisting Petcare Managers with Dog Temperament Testing

•Facilitating the Reservation, Check-In, and Check-Out Processes

•Promoting Retail Sales

•Ordering Office Supplies

•Making Bank Deposits Required Skills

•Someone who has good skills with a computer

•Someone who has excellent personal and communication skills

•Someone who has excellent organization skills

•A person who has good sales skills

•Leadership Skills

•Patient and Understanding of Pets and their Needs in a Petcare Facility environment

Commercial pet experience is not a must but a love for pets is. There will be on the job training. Salary Information
